What's in a Name
Single origins often carry different names depending on the buyer—each one telling the story of its origin and offering a glimpse of what to expect in the cup.
Origin
Located on the equator and blessed with lush volcanic highlands and tropical humidity, Sumatra has been a home for coffee production for centuries. Its wet-hulled coffees are a staple of Sumatran coffees, creating a unique complexity that can't be found anywhere else.
Region
The region of Kerinci is relatively new to coffee production but represents one of Asia's most exciting areas for high-quality Arabica cultivation. Producers in Kerinci are investing heavily in post-harvest processing and reliably producing exceptional coffees.
Producer
Established in 2014, the Solok Radjo Cooperative stands out for its quality, wide variety of profiles, and dedication to preserve the natural ecosystems in the Solok and Kerinici highlands.

Partnership
This is our third year working with Solok Radjo. Their meticulous attention to quality, particularly during processing, stands out at the cupping table year after year.
Taste
This cup exhibits the hallmark qualities of the classic Sumatran coffee: full body and complex aromatics balancing savory and earthy notes with baking spice–like qualities.
Processing
When processed with care, wet-hulled coffees create a unique complexity that can't be found in any other coffee. This cup is a testament to Solok Radjo's meticulous craftsmanship.
